Mandara Medi-Spas are being added to NCL cruises. This is the opportunity for passengers to have Botox, Perlane or Restylane treatments while cruising. Currently these are available on the Norwegian Spirit, Norwegian Gem and Norwegian Dawn. In the fall all Norwegian cruise ships will host the procedures.
Botox is injected under the skin to minimize or smooth out wrinkles by relaxing the skin.
Perlane and
Restylane are sister products and are made with hyaluronic acid, which naturally occurs in skin. This is used to smooth wrinkles and deep lines. It can also be used on the lips, facial depressions and facial scarring.
To utilize this service there is a 30 minute consultation with an onboard physician to create a treatment plan.
