Best Alaska Cruise

The eastern shore of Vancouver Island is a surprise. Looking across the water I can see islands. From here I can’t tell how many or where they start and stop. The mountains behind them are the Canadian mainland. They call the water Johnstone Strait. It really looks like a wide river, maybe wider than the Mississippi. Along the water the trees extend down to the high tide mark. I can’t see any towns or villages. No buildings around. In many ways it appears to be wilderness.

Out on the water it’s a different story. I can see ships that are headed to Alaska and ones coming back. It’s not what I expected. There’s a tugboat pulling a huge barge with stacks of the big metal shipping containers. On top of the pile is a manufactured home. Another tug and barge headed north has a commercial fishing boat on top. There’s a cruise ship as well, carrying passengers on what for them will be the best Alaska cruise. Oh, how I want to go!
I want to travel the Alaska Marine Highway…to see things I’ve heard or read about…to know firsthand how big a grizzly is…to watch ice break off a glacier…to see eagles soar and whales swim.

NCL Cruises to Hawaii

What better way to experience the magic of exotic islands than on a cruise to Hawaii? Sail the tranquil waters of the Pacific to four of the Hawaiian Islands, without ever having to worry about repacking luggage or long lines at the airport.

Warm tropical breezes and exotic floral scents captivate you as you reach each port of call. The cultural diversity, fabulous weather, and unspoiled beaches make a Hawaiian cruise perfect.

From stepping aboard a NCL Hawaii cruise, pressures of everyday life dissipate as you are welcomed by the professional staff ready to serve and meet your every need. Be delighted and relaxed, as you refresh your mind and renew your spirit.

Grab your book, slip on your sandals and head for the sun deck for some much needed unwinding time. You deserve it! Stop in at the spa for a facial, a massage, or maybe a soak in the whirlpool before dining at any of the fabulous restaurants. With Freestyle Cruising Norwegian, you dine at any restaurant whenever you choose. Allow your appetite to guide you! After dinner, try your luck in the casino for some excitement or enjoy a Mai Tai and some dancing under the stars at the disco.

Whether you are eight or eighty, there are endless activities awaiting you. The rock climbing wall entices your adventurous spirit or an afternoon in the movie theatre may be just the ticket. Now, remember you are on a Hawaiian cruise, so how about a lei making class or a hula lesson complete with, you guessed it, Hawaiian music!

Arriving at the first port of call, the Aloha spirit of Hawaii and its people envelop you. The scenery is breathtaking with palm trees, lush green rolling hills, pineapple fields and of course, beaches. White sand, black sand, red sand and yes, even green sand beaches can be found along the topaz blue waters of the Pacific.
NCL cruises roundtrip from Honolulu on three cruise ships; Pride of Aloha, Pride of America and Pride of Hawai'i.
